The Trumpet
Trumpet

Another aspect of an army is the sound of the *Trumpet*

There are distinct trumpet sounds that are observed in scripture.

The Lord told Moses to make two silver trumpets out of hammered work for the calling of the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps. (Numbers 10:2)

When the camps were to set out the Lord called each tribe an army. They were troops marching into the promised land. (Numbers 10:14-16)

When the people would go to war in their land against the enemy who oppressed them, then they would sound the alarm with the trumpets, and they would be remembered before the Lord their God, and He would save them from their enemies. (Numbers 10:9)

The priests bore seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark and blew the trumpets to have the armed men advance.

(Joshua 6:4,8-9)

The Feast of Trumpets to be observed in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. (Leviticus 23:24)

On the Year of Jubilee, the Trumpet of Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, which is also the Day of Atonement. (Leviticus 25:8-9)

1 Corinthians 14:8 states, “For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle?

Within the Vision book of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent there was a time when we blew the rams’ horn, that is noted on page #10.

At the east corner of the Municipality at Clearville, a scripture was given by the Holy Spirit where Monique blew the rams’ horn after speaking each word “Come”

Revelation 22:16-17 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” (blowing of the rams’ horn) And let him who hears say, “Come!” (blowing of the rams’ horn) And let him who thirsts “Come!” (blowing of the rams’ horn) Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

I believe the prophetic blowing of the rams’ horn at Clearville is the Invitation for Sinners to “Come” to the Place of Refuge. To “Come” to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. To equip the Army for the work of Ministry. The gathering of the troops.
