Government of God - Apostolic Career

​

2 Corinthians 10:4 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.”

​

Warfare – Greek – Strateia - military service, that is, (figuratively) the apostolic career (as one of hardship and danger): - warfare.

​

War – Greek – Strateuomai - to serve in a military campaign; figuratively to execute the apostolate (with its arduous duties and functions), to contend with carnal inclinations: - soldier, (go to) war (-fare).

​

  • The Apostle’s career is warfare – A Spiritual Battle

  • The Apostle disciples’ individuals, trains and equips them to function in the Apostolic Anointing.

  • The Governmental Anointing - The Power and Authority of the Kingdom of Light vs. the Power of the Kingdom of Darkness.

The Apostle’s Measure of Rule:

​

Acts 17: 26 “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.”

​

Bounds – Hebrew – Horothesia – G3734 - A limit placing, that is, (concretely) boundary line: - bound.

Bounds – Hebrew – Horion – G3725 – (A bound or limit); a boundary line, that is, (by implication) a frontier (region): - border, coast.

​

2 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV) “But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.”

​

Rule – Greek – Kanon - (a straight reed, that is, rod); a rule (“canon”), that is, (figuratively) a standard (of faith and practice); by implication a boundary, that is, (figuratively) a sphere (of activity): - line, rule.

​

Sphere – Merriam Webster Dictionary - an area or range over or within which someone or something acts, exists, or has influence or significance.

  • The Lord has given specific boundaries to the nations of the earth.

  • The Lord distributes to the Apostle his measure of rule.

  • The Apostle is given delegated spiritual authority/power over certain land boundaries, territories, and people groups. (sphere of activity)

2 Corinthians 10:14 (NKJV) “For we are not overextending ourselves (as though our authority did not extend to you), for it was to you that we came with the gospel of Christ.”

2 Corinthians 10:15 (NKJV) “Not boasting of things beyond measure, that is, in other men’s labors, but having hope, that as your faith is increased, we shall be greatly enlarged by you in our sphere.”

2 Corinthians 10:16 (NKJV) “To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man’s sphere of accomplishment.”

According to Acts 19:11-16

  • The evil spirits recognize governmental spiritual authority of the Apostle.

  • The evil spirits do not recognize anyone other than the Apostle.

  • The evil spirits overpower those who do not have the apostolic governmental authority in the spiritual realm over land boundaries, territories, and people groups.

 

We are to rule in the midst of our enemies according to Psalm 110:2

We are a Spiritual Kingdom of Kings and Priests according to 1 Peter 2:9-10

  • Kings Rule – Government

  • Each of us have been given a measure of rule in the spiritual realm.

  • The governmental apostolic anointing to rule in the midst of our enemies. (Warfare)

  • Priests Intercede – Family

 

How do we know our Measure of Rule in the Spiritual?

  • The Lord distributes the measure of rule.

  • We know for certain one our measure of rule is family.

  • Where we have been given authority in the natural is where our authority is in the spiritual.

  • Example: You are the Accounting Manager of a Firm – This is your sphere of influence or Activity.

  • You have the Apostolic Anointing to rule in the spiritual realm, to remove spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places within your area of responsibility. The purpose of course is to remove the spiritual hinderances, strongholds for the gospel to go forth.

 

The Municipality of Chatham Kent & Southwestern Ontario: The Apostle’s Measure of Rule

  • Place of Government – Boundary, Territory, Region, People Group

  • On January 1st, 1998, Chatham-Kent was amalgamated from 23 Townships.

  • In 2015: The Borders/Territory of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent was marked Spiritually, by pounding stakes into the ground/anointing them with oil at the Four Corners.

  • In 2019: The Borders/Territory of Southwestern Ontario was marked Spiritually, by pounding stakes into the ground/anointing them with oil at the Four Corners.

  • Isaiah 54:2 “Enlarge the place of your tent and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.”

The Vision for the Municipality of Chatham-Kent & Southwestern Ontario

  • An Apostolic House – Government

  • An Apostolic Equipping Center – For the equipping of the Saints for the work of ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-13)

  • Place of Refuge – Jehovah Shammah – THE LORD IS THERE!!!
