The Anointing Oil

You will recall in the book “The Vision for the Municipality of Chatham-Kent” when soil was collected from 125 locations and water collected from 5 locations, a prophetic act was completed within City Chambers on May 7th, 2014. The soil from each location was named and put into a bucket to represent Unity for the Municipality.

​

There were other items deposited into the bucket, one of which was anointing oil.

​

You will recall the post that explained the spiritual significance of the Crest of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent the Words “Invicta-Progressus” where 23 Municipalities amalgamated to form the new Corporation, and the scripture that represents the Ecclessia coming together in unity.

Psalm 133:1-3 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down the beard. The beard of Aaron. Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon descending upon the mountains of Zion. For there the Lord commanded the blessing, Life forevermore.

Lets go further into our understanding.

​

The Precious oil upon the head (Office of Priest) anointed by God. Running down to the edge of his garments, represents the nation of Israel.

​

The dew of Hermon (Office of King - Government) anointed by God. Descending on the mountains of Zion, represents the cities of Israel.

The Spiritual significance:

​

1. Our High Priest, Jesus the Anointed One. The anointing flows through His body, the Family of God, as the anointing of the priestly function. (Representing Aaron the High Priest)

​

2. Our King Jesus, the Anointed One. With the anointing flowing through His body, the Ecclessia, the City, Government kingly function. (Representing Mountains of Zion)

​

This anointing oil will accomplish what has been declared according to scripture found in.

​

Isaiah 61:1-3

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,

because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor.

He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted.

To proclaim liberty to the captives.

And the opening of the prison to those who are bound.

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

And the day of vengeance of our God.

To comfort all who mourn.

To console those who mourn in Zion.

To give them beauty for ashes.

The oil of joy for mourning.

The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

That they may be called trees of righteousness.

The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

​

Isaiah 10:27 “It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder. And his yoke from your neck. And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.

​

We exercise our Authority as The Kingdom of Light (Government) over the Kingdom of Darkness (Government) of Satan.

It is when the Ecclessia has come together in unity that the anointing will flow.
